Core viewpoints of the forum
1. Five misunderstandings of network marketing
Unclear purpose: blindly following the trend without clear goals and strategies;
Pursuit of form: The website is fancy but lacks effective information;
Ignorance of promotion: believing in "good wine needs no bush";
Blind selection: Choosing a service provider solely based on its reputation or apparent price;
Lack of evaluation skills: No methods, tools, or dedicated personnel for evaluation.
2. Three links of online marketing (proposed by Wang Zhan, Director of Baidu Search Business Support Department)
Website construction is the foundation;
Network promotion is the core;
Customer service is the guarantee.
3. Pay-for-performance is the future direction
Professor Jiang Xuping from Tsinghua University: Online marketing will be oriented towards effectiveness, and pay-per-performance will be favored by small and medium-sized enterprises;
Dr. Niu Haipeng from Renmin University: PPC (Pay-Per-Click) advertising conforms to the ideal advertising model - the people who see the ads are the target customers, and payment is only made when results are generated.
